Hey all you wonderful women out there!

Just a reminder that our bible study will meet this coming Monday, July 12th from 7:00-8:15 in the library.  We gather around the Word and discover together how God speaks to us through it.  The conversation adds to the discovery and all you need is a Bible. 

If you have questions, give me a call.   Remember, there's no homework other than the call to read the Bible and an openess to it changing your life; bring that along on Monday as well as a friend!  (or two)

Trinity Lutheran and Bethel Lutheran are teaming up this summer to educate and entertain children about God at Vacation Bible School. There is no registration deadline. You may register your children the first night.
Preschool aged children will meet from 6-7 pm each night.
All other children attend from 6-8 pm each nigh...t.

Baobab Blast is an open invitation to be part of God's Great Get-Together.

Set under the impressive baobab tree, kids will have the opportunity to hear the Word, be amazed at God's wildlife creations, and be a part of a supportive community.

This will be a life-changing experience for your kids as you gather together as a community and grow in faith. As the sun rises and sets on the savannah, so, too, will faith and relationships grow as kids explore connections with God, family, friends and others around the world.

Any fellas interested in joining us around the coffee pot (or orange juice carton) for some scintilating early-a.m. discussion around God's Word are welcome to join us at church, in the Fellowship Hall, this Friday morning, June 25th, at 6:30 A.M.!  We'll be looking at a couple of "call stories" in the scriptures, one from 1st Kings 19:15-21 (the call of Elisha) and several from the Gospel of Luke, 9:51-62.  Have you ever considered the implications of actually answering God's call to follow in the affirmative?  What's the cost of such a response?  Why would anybody want to???  Good questions.  Let's knock them around a bit.

As you may have already heard the news, you can now register your child(ren) for Saturday / Sunday School online and submit it via email!  Fill out the form today, avoid the long lines on Rally Sunday, and best of all you can do it from the comfort of your own home!

As the  Web Administrator for Trinity Lutheran Church, I have had a wonderful time creating and redesigning the website you are all familiar with.  However, the Lord has inspired me to do more! For the past few days I asked myself, "What else could I add to the website?  What features would keep Trinity's online presence fresh and exciting?".

Then the idea came to me!  Trinity's website needs a blog!  A blog to gather our friends and family, so that we can discuss God's good news.  An online bible study perhaps? A discussion group to talk about what we have learned from the Gospel during the weekend service?  The possibilites are endless!

I see many opportunities with this venture and invite you to join me along with the church to bring the Lord closer through his words!
