Wednesday Worship is On!
The Journey Begins!
As I write this on Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) we stand just hours away from the beginning of Lent... a forty-day journey to the cross of Christ, and finally to the empty tomb of Easter. I'm inviting you to join us on this journey by being intentional this year, taking on a renewed committment to worship, prayer and reflection. Too busy? All the more reason to join us! Life has a way of swallowing us whole if we let it. The only way to break that insidious cycle is to try something different. We have a tool for you to help you do just that:
During the Lenten season, I encourage you to pick up the red devotional book from the church Narthex, "Lenten Journey: Seven Wonders of the Word," and set aside a few minutes each day to read and reflect. Join us in worship on the Wednesdays of Lent (11:00 A.M. or 7:00 P.M.) to hear some of your fellow travellers from this congregation describe their own faith journeys. Consider joining us during the education hour on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall as we use this devotional book to unpack and inform our own faith journeys. (Even if you're not using this book daily, you'll still enjoy the conversation!) We begin on Ash Wednesday, March 9th. God strenthen us for the road ahead! Pastor S.

A guide on using the features for the Newsletter and Calendar
Ever wonder what those icons are at the bottom right hand side of the Newsletter and Calendar webpages? Wanting to print certain pages of interest within the documents?
Well have no fear.. for the following information will help provide that knowledge you are looking for!

•Magnifying Glass - clicking on this icon will magnify the document for better visibility and zoom in for ease of reading. Double clicking on the document itself is another option that would provide the same results.

•Printer - If you want to print certain pages, this would be the best option. After clicking on this icon you will see an image pop up over the document asking you to select which page you would like print. The definition of the pop up image is as follows: Left page | Both pages | Right page

•Download - clicking this icon will download a copy of the PDF document onto your computer for offline viewing. This document may appear in another browser window if you have the Adobe Reader add-on installed. This option is also great if you want to print the entire newsletter document at once through Adobe Reader.

•Previous Page - click this and the document will flip the left page exposing the previous content.

•Next Page - click this and the document will flip the right page for further reading. You can also flip the pages by clicking and dragging either the left or right page to the opposite side with your mouse.
